Default 1 on 1 Hex Fishing at Lake Almanor

    Hex 2016!

I am offering something a little different for the Hex Hatch at Lake Almanor 2016. 1 on 1 fishing with me from 6pm until dark. All equipment is provided (not wading gear) for $125 a night. I only have one night left.

The Hexagenia is our largest mayfly being a yellow #6 dry fly, emerger and nymph.

Getting out with Lincoln on Lake Almanor mid-summer in a float tube or pontoon boat would be very exciting.

The hex is an incredible bug !!! What has ever happened to the hatch we used to have at lake natoma?? I had some incredible summer evenings out there years ago. You never knew what you were going to catch from bluegill to smallmouth and largemouth bass to trout and crappie. My biggest fish ever was a 4 lb smallie. Just had to follow the ducks to be in the mix of things haha

    Jake,

I have never fished that lake - but their are Hex's in Davis, Butt Valley and the Afterbay on the Feather River that I have fished. of course the hex on Fall also. I wonder how many waters in California the Hex is in? Help with this?
