Spent a little over an hour in the lower section before dark tonight. Missed two, but got one big male to the net. First one this season for me!

Double digits tonite with half as many LDRs. Andy floated by and told me they got a 25 striper on a shad fly!

Man I should of went out tonight. Were you in the same spot? We are going to try and bring the boat down tomorrow.

Went on a short 2 hour float with Earle Sloane. Couldn't touch a shad for the first hour and a half. Earle was landing them here and there. Got 13 in the last 30 minutes. We ended up with 20 to the boat!

Fished with 7 other fly anglers this evening. Slow for most. Chris (from the Bay Area. Nice to meet you Chris!) and Mike Stroud caught one apiece while I was there. Ended up with a dozen on the Too Sexy! Charlie Gonzales was in a recon mission and we caught up on what's been going on with our lives. There's a run in the upper river named after him!
