Earle told me that a steelhead would be there and we saw a couple of others rise. Shad are done but I'm still catching a few stragglers that are spawned out.

Landed one one and LDRed one after work. I'm done fishing daily for shad. Fished 78 days in a row and it was a good run. Good luck to the few that are still targeting them. You might be at the right place down river and run into a ball of shad moving out. Next year can't come soon enough!

Only three broken but one twice:

6126 Method tip snapped due to nick
6119 Method tip snapped due to nick
6119 TCX crushed ferrule in car door
6119 Method tip snapped due to operator error

None lost. I'd say it was pretty good for fishing 78 days in a row.

Thanks for another great year of shad reports Jeff C! Next season can't come soon enough. I learn something new every shad season, and this year was no exception.
