Pyramid Wednesday/Thursday

Fished Pyramid this last Wednesday and Thursday with Doug Ouellette. Learned that the grab on Tuesday was really tough and experienced that Wednesday was equally tough. We landed a few fish, however, the lake was pretty much flat. Thursday brought good winds and waves with "happy" fish! We fished from Monument all the way down to south nets in the two days, no shortage of anglers. Can't say enough about Doug, super hard worker with a nose for fish. No Pilot Peak fish for us, but some nice cuts in the mix.

Nice work Terry! Sounds like you and Doug had an awesome time! Glad you guys were able to get into some fish. Hopefully next trip your fly will find its way into the mouth of one of those pilot peak beasts.

Nice job Terry! Sounds like you learned a bunch which is what those times with the experts is all about. You're right that wind sure turns the tide. Great picture too, that fish there is going to be a monster catch some day. Let me know if you make any plans to head back.
