Just got back from a weekend in Albany, OR... I attended the NW Fly Tyers Expo which was a two day expo.
We had rain both days but that didn't stop people from coming. Usually when it rains, most people head indoors but since Oregon is having a lot of rain, I guess people are living with it. I don't think the crowd was a big as last year. No where else will you see 150 tyers doing their thing. And if you wanted fly tying materials, this is the place to be. There were at least, 20 venders selling materials. I bought some buck tails that had 6" hair, some Partridge hooks, Hoffman soft hackles.
I'm already planning on next year. It was a fun two days. Saw lot's of California tyers there. I posted a bunch of photo's on my face book page
