Starting to see gear bankers at the usual places; no fish or rises yet, however.

Still no fish for me; scouted a good stretch and did not seeing anyone else trying (5/9/16). River seems cold. The fish are probably around but where is not found out yet.

I caught a shad yesterday. It was at least 7" long.
