Hardy built SA System 11 (4" Marquis)

Scarce SA System 11 and original case, loaded with good greenspot. Seen some use but still very nice/cool collectible and highly functional reel. These split the size difference in a Marquis Salmon 1 and Salmon 2. Been stamped with initials inside which show through light on back as well. Reel has fantastic spring tension / check.. very strong.

Specifications and comparison to Salmon 1

It's not much larger than the Marquis Salmon 1

Spool of System 11 is 4" diameter and 1" width.

Spool of Marquis Salmon 1 is 3 7/8" and also 1" width.

Weighed both reels, each empty of all line and backing so bare bones weight.

System 11 tips scales at 8.3 ounce.

Marquis Salmon 1 weighs 7.8 ounce.

SA System 8 is same as Marquis 8/9 3 5/8" dia. x 11/16" wide
SA System 9 is same as Marquis 10 3 3/4" dia.
SA System 10 is same as Marquis Salmon 1 3 7/8"" dia. x 15/16" wide
SA System 11 has no Marquis equiv. 4" dia. x 15/16" wide
Marquis Salmon 2 has no SA equiv. 4 1/8" dia. x 1 3/16" wide
Marquis Salmon 3 has no SA equiv. 4 1/8" dia. x 1 9/16" wide

widths are the inside dimensions of the spools
