    Welcome aboard flycaster! Beautiful shots and really enjoy the raptor! It looks like it's keying in on some prey by the looks of those eyes or maybe you for the photo opp!

    Beautiful pix. That starling has a lot of nice soft hackle feathers on it....

    Thank's John.They are pretty colorful when the sunlight is on them.I am new to fly tying so now you got me thinking of what flies i could tie with it's feathers.Hmmmmmm.

    Starling and herl is a go to fly for me for trout. I'm sure it would be perfect for breams.

    I googled the pic of this fly.Looks pretty simple to tie.Good looking fly.I will have to get some materials for these.Thanks.

    Thanks Aron.We have more cardinals and bluejays right now in the winter than any other species i believe.Here is a Female Cardinal photo i took.
