The 3k cfs push only happened today... If anyone is out they are most likely still on the river or drinking a beer and resting

I was out all morning. Got off the river at 1230. Flows were right at 1700, but visibility was maybe 16". Water is dirtier than it was over the weekend. Only saw one fish. It was moving up and pretty much ran into me.

Probably be OK in a few days if it says at this flow.

3,000 cfs is not a bad flow but much more is a little high for wading.

This should suck up more fish and they should be from Sunrise to the dam.

With only 3700 +- going into the lake hard to say. I guess we will see. If anymore storms come in. So far the coast looks clear for the next week and a half.

Feb/March can be a good time for larger winter run steehead and then some spring run smaller fish might come in.

Fished on the 10th. Water was high and fast and dirty. Hooked a very good fish swinging a spent egg trailer behind a rubber leg after swinging an olive sculpin and egg sucking leech most of the morning. Lost it after a few good runs up and down river when my drag froze...busted some knuckles trying to palm my reel...good times!

Fished around Carmichael on 2/15 for a few hours. Hooked a decent fish on my 2nd cast, and that was it. Came unbuttoned fairly quick too. Egg pattern over a squirmy wormy. River is definitely up, and moving quick. No way I could access most of my usual spots. Careful wading out there!

FattMerro, how was the water clarity? Was it still muddy?
