    Please make the following release changes to the American River.


    Date Time From (cfs) To (cfs)

    On Friday 02/05/2016 @ 01:00am from 800 cfs to 1,750 cfs

    I love that flow......hope it does not go a lot higher.

    February is a top month in the Lower American River for Steelhead.

    Awesome! Looks like I need to pick up some heavier tips! Bill, do you know if this is a long term flow increase? I've heard that sometimes they will do a big flush like that for just a couple days and then decrease the flows again. Not sure if there's any validity to this.

    The river will likely remain at that flow for a while and any change will be a higher flow not a reduced one.

    1700cfs is a wonderful flow to wade and/or float.

    Fish might go nuts with this flow and the bite will probably slow down. Either way I will be out next week a few times hopefully!
