The bokeh in both of these pictures is perfect...were you shooting off a tripod? Sorry for all the questions but those pictures just beg for information.

Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.

If you're lookin' for any Canon equipment keep an eye of this web site http://www.canonpricewatch.com/. Dang good deals pop up there.

Snow shoed up to an area close to Mt Bachelor. At the snow shelter at the top, the Clark's Nutcrackers are pretty tame. Or maybe a better term is they're very cheeky. Started eating a sandwich and ne flies down and hops over right next to me. I flipped him a bread crumb. He munched it down. Held a second crumb in my finger tips and he hops right up and snatches it away. Suddenly there's 4 or 5 of the little thieves. If you held your sandwich or protein bar too long in one place they'd fly over and steal a bite.
