    Default Lower Sace Goodness

It's that time of year again when everything comes full circle and the Trout are Happy Happy.

Grabbed the Mini and made the trip north. Boasting a new set of shocks she was rolling sweet:

Pegged it at 75 and let the good times roll. We rolled into our riverside spot just as the sun was setting. We drank and fumbled with the charcoal without lighter fluid. Hopefully the chatty Chardonnay drinking neighbor offered me a can he had buried in the bottom of his rig.

Brother brought the potato finished ground beef 1 lb for two people?? That's ok with us. Having no real spices or sauces we had few options, I dug out a small jar of a dry rub. Screw it, lets make it work. I made two large patties and one medium one, I had to make sure they were big enough to fit the bread. I babied them on the already shaky coals and turns out...

    It was worth it:

5:40 alarm clock to make coffee gear up and head out.

    It was not a waste:

    Fishing was flat out silly:

    Yup:

As always it was stupid good. On the way home my oldest brother was asking about our fishing. When he asked how many fish we caught, the most appropriate answer was Enough!
