    Default October Caddis

    Here's my take on an October Caddis for Steelhead



    Hook: U503 size 8
    Weight: Wraps/underbody of lead/nonlead wire
    Thread: Black Uni 6/0
    Tag: Gold Mylar Tinsel
    Tail: Brown Hackle Fibers
    Body: Some random orange dubbing
    Rib: Gold/silver Mylar Tinsel (depends on my mood which side I use)
    Collar: Natural Partrige

    Not sure if it'll work on our local river but I'm going to give it a shot anyway. Are there even any October Caddis' in the AR? Maybe I'll take a few of these with me up to the Trinity and see if they'll produce up there.
