lake natomas?

Anyone ever fish lake natomas and if so what kind of fish are in there? Just wondering...maybe another spot to try out while I wait on the rain

If it still holds , I believe the state record rainbow came out of there at 23 lbs. There are very large rainbows up in the canyon section by the prison, just hard to get down and deep for them on a fly.

Oh wow that's a big damn rainbow. And you can't use a motorized boat right, strictly kayak, drift or pontoon?

You can use motorized boats. I think there is just a 5mph speed limit on the lake. There's some really nice bass in there and some HUGE carp if you can get back in the waterways. Give it a shot sometime!
