Congrats Gordon! That is a beautiful steelhead!
Beautiful fish, Gordon! Looks like you've got it figured out.
Gorgeous fish- kudos for living close enough to make that happen!
Just got off the phone with Rouge River local Al Perryman.
Al was fishing the last few days with Chuck Campana.
Chuck fished yesterday with Ron Hayashi.
Fishing has been good.....
Al said this is a good time to go to the Middle Rogue for swinging flies.

Nice job Gord!! That is one fine specimen !
Don't need a calendar to know it's steelhead season. Just look for Gordon's posts. Well done, Mr. L!
Best,
Larry S
NO DOUBT... that was a biter and not a slider...
At first glance, I thought that was a Dick Nite spoon, hahaha.
No doubt, swinging rather than nymphing.... will tend to 'make your fish grow'
NICE BUCK!
Now that one looks like it was a good time!
I was on the Klamath last week around HCamp and caught more adult fish than 1/2lb's. It was unusual for this time of year in my experience. It was very slow and we had to be on the move the entire time to find any fish.
Hoping to get up your way again soon!
