    Hi Lincoln.

I saw these at the new Bass Pro store when it opened and my first thought was "Wow" that looks cool. But then I thought about it and asked myself what would I use this for that the standard model doesn't already do?

For bigger lines I would never use a nail knot, though your standard tool is perfect for smaller lines.

Is this just for guys with big hands? Tony

    Tony -

Did you ever get the tools that I sent down to you?

    Thanks

Yes, I did. And I seriously apologize for not writing you sooner to say "Thank You". The new Magnum Combo Tool is really sweet for folks with larger hands, or old guys like me that have a hard time holding onto small lines and knots.

Also the Knot tying tip that swings out is just a touch wider which I really like when trying to feed the end of a nail knot through and under the wraps. This gives it just a hair more room to finish the knot.

Again, the slightly larger size is perfect for holding across the palm of your hand and the tip can accommodate the extra wraps when tying an Albright with heavier leaders and tippet.

Also while at the Bass Pro Store I saw they had your new Knot Tyer Tool as well which looked to be almost double the original sized one. That too should be a real plus for larger lines,,,, and hands too.

    Thanks again, Tony
