American river trip

Hey guys I am looking to travel the two hours to the American for some fishing. Is it worth the trip to fish below nimbus?

There are a few steelhead in the river. I would not drive 2 hours at this time.

September is usually our best month for Fall Half-Pounder Steelhead on the Lower American River.

We fish mostly early and late in the day unless we get some weather.

6am till about 9am or 5pm till dark.
