The Sony a5000 camera has been getting rave reviews. My wife and kids got me one last year for Christmas when the battery retention clip on my old Pentax broke. So far I've been really impressed with the image quality and capabilities of the a5000. The one negative I have found is it's a little larger than my old point & shoot which made me have to change where and how I carry it when fishing / hiking. Took this pano shot a couple months ago of the Three Sisters and Broken Top at dawn using the panorama function of the a5000.

It has interchangeable lenses as well. I think there are only two without an adapter (the ring mount is smaller than most standard 35mm lenses). It comes standard with a 16 -50mm, f3.5 - 5.6 lens. The other lens goes up to 200mm but I can't remember where it starts. I haven't tried the longer lens yet. Here's a couple more from a recent hike to check out the status of the wild flowers. We were about 2 weeks early I think.
