    Default Private Water in Nevada

I don't know how most fly guys feel about fishing private waters but as a rank amateur in a float tube I had a blast! It was a great place to use a float tube for the first time, and the first time I used my 5 wt. gear in years (I have been using 2 wt. gear in small streams and rivers for the last few years). I had so much fun I went back a week later and talked a friend into going along. Second trip was more work since we had to deal with 20+ mph winds, but I actually caught and released more than 4 times as many Rainbows on the second trip.

What is the name of this private stillwater?

Great videos...almost forgot how cool float tubing really is.

My guess is that it is Aspen Lake Ranch in Wellington , NV. I'd never heard about this place before. It looks like a good place.

Nothing wrong with private water. A good number of them provide great fishing.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!
