Beardsley afterbay...

Has anyone fished the afterbay or the Middle Fork of the Stan recently? I'm thinking of heading up that way to tryout a new frameless pontoon boat. Last I heard there were spotty reports and a general lack of fish in the afterbay. Just wondering if things have changed. Any other suggestions?

Wish I could help, but I'm trying to find out the conditions too.

apparently very low flows. in normal years at 350cfs or so. last i checked it was at 50. not a good sign. that being said, might make for easier fishing at the afterbay. Day time temps might be a little rough for fishing though

The last I heard was back in april and apparently the fishing sucked. There were a few guys reporting a bunch of otters in the afterbay, so it's likely they put a huge dent in the fish population... I'd like to hear a more recent report though. Maybe even info on the river below the afterbay?

I never made it up there. Two career criminals ruined my only day off in awhile. I will report if or when I go.
