    Default Lower Sac

The Lower Sac continues to fish GREAT. Last week there was some windy days and some days that the bugs didn't come out super strong and those days can be a little slower. The fish remain on a steady diet of PMD, Caddis and Stonefly stuff. The end of last week temps were just about 90, if you want to beat the triple digit temps get out there now.

I have 5/15 open, last open day through mid June if you're thinking about a trip.

In the sport section of the Sacramento Bee news paper, about 50 years ago, they reported that a fishing guide was catching nice trout for his customers by drifting night crawlers under the willows along the edge of the Sacramento River near Red Bluff, California.

I filed that into my memory banks for future use......
