AR Flows?

Talked to a guy yesterday and he said he was talking to the Water Master who told him that the flow in the American is going up to 2000 cfs. The news got me excited because we sure could use the higher flow to get current in places that are like lakes now. Anone one have any insight on this?

Flows are going up to 1000 cfs tomorrow! Woohoo (never thought I'd get excited about the flows being 1000 cfs)!

I was out today. Water is definitely up the banks. Lotta movement in the water, except not on my line.
Stripers were active.and shad were running scared.

Looks like the flow at Fair Oaks on the Lower American River is at 973 cfs.

That is not much......but probably OK for the drought we are in.

Do any of you think that the flow increase has been implemented for the Bass Tournament this weekend? This tournament is a big money for businesses in Sac. If so it seems kind of wrong in all kinds of ways and a waste of water storage.

No it wasn't. All the bass guys will and are heading to the delta. So the flows mean nothing to them.
