    Default 17 Whaler

    BOAT SOLD. Thanks

I have done everything with this boat from feather river stealhead, to delta stripers and large mouth, to bay sturgeon and halibut, to coastal abalone, rockfish and salmon, to offshore albacore.

Engine is a 97 mercury with low hours and runs perfect. Boat runs right at 40 mph WOT.

Trailer is a dual axle little dude with two new 2500 lb galvanized axles and 4 new hubs/bearings. Can easily tow with small SUV or soccer van.

Brand new hdpe custom center console that will just about last forever with scratch resistant polycarbonate windshield. Built-in 18 gal aluminum fuel tank in console. Fish finder, vhf w/antenna, full navigation lights, bait pump, bilge pump. Boat rewired with Blue Seas and Guest components and marine tinned wire and connectors with adhesive lined heat shrink.

Front and rear casting decks as I mainly used the boat for fly casting to stripers the last several years in the delta. Rear deck houses batterswitch and two batteries. No fly line catchers on boat and smaller profile console.

If you are looking for a garage kept all original classic, keep looking. If you are looking for a workhorse in good shape that is practical and functional and that will continue to outlive boats half it's age, this is the boat. Boat is ready for ocean salmon opener, spring stripers or bay halibut.

Looking for $5,800. Located in Sacramento. Call or text Kevin @916996-0489.

Those old Classic Boston Whalers are very popular all over the world.

    They came in 9', 11', 13', 15', 17', 18', 20', 22', 25' and 27'.

New a boat, motor and trailer like it would be about $30,000.00.

Yeah, this boat is about as versatile as can be. It has allowed my fishing interests to change and evolve over the years and has met the needs every time.

    Nice boat indeed!

I'm guessing the engine is a 2 stroke?

    Good price at any rate,

Yes, engine is a two stroke with an engine mounted oil tank that self mixes.
