    Default Shad Cam is back

Virginia DFG operates a shadcam of the St James River from late March to June.
For you insomniacs (or new fathers) this can be an interesting way to pass some time.

In past years, we used to award books to those that posted shadcam pics of shad.
Last year's "books for Shig" depleted most of my supply of fishing books; but, we'll think of something.
In the past, the late nite cam has seen a wide variety of creatures; including some epic eel(lamphrey)
    migrations.
So, post 'em if you got 'em.
    Best, Larry S

These two cams are on the fish passages on the first dam on the Columbia River. One is on the WA side the other on the OR side.

Epic numbers of salmon, steelies and shad during the runs.

Finally some action on Virginia's ShadCam. Can the Bay area activity be close at hand?
Don't have any good fishing-related books to offer this year; but, for those posting pics of shad
from the ShadCam or of new catches in the Sac-area, we'll come up with some swag.
    Best,
    Larry S

I don't know, the ventral fin looks wrong for shad.
Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Jake: Hit it.
