Default What's happening on the Lower Sac?

I'm going to fish the lower sac this weekend and I would like to what the fish are biting on. Are the spring caddis hatching yet?

    Thanks in advance.

Heard clarity is a little better and fishing has picked up again. Water color there has been a major issue this year.
Yeah caddis patterns doing well. Go into " THE FLY SHOP" or call them in Redding. They are helpful.

The Flyshop was very helpful. A small black caddis is hatching, yellow micro spawn and all of the other usuals.

April might be the top spring month for the big caddis bite.......but it can fish year round.

I was out for about an hour this evening after work at my dry fly spot around redding. There are plenty of caddis around right now and even a few fish rising sporadically where I was. I fished dries and was unable to connect, but conditions have been good, the bugs are here and fish have to eat.
