Crane Prairie Special streamer pattern???

Came across a reference to a streamer pattern known as the "Crane Prairie Special" which I guess was once sold by the local stores, but an exhaustive web search turned up nothing on this fly.

Anyone know this pattern and have a recipe and a photo? Thanks in advance.

While I haven't heard of the Crane Prairie Special, back in the mid-1970's we did fish the Diamond Lake Special on Crane Prairie Lake...While I know that this isn't directly responsive, just send me a pm if you have any interest in the Diamond Lake Special.

The Crane Prairie Special was tied commercially by Anthony Whitney of Lapine , Or. He has been dead for many years. His daughter gave me a large box of his many different flies, most are trolling flies. Provide me with your mailing address and I will send you a Crane Prairie Special.
