So if you are going to the Fly Fishing Show in Pleasanton then make sure to come down on Saturday and finish the day at the Cast Hope Fundraiser. This is really a worthy event for a good cause. I wish I had gotten my kids started sooner. Luckily I have a second chance to teach my grandson more about fishing and the outdoors.

As the marketing director of Cast Hope watching and gathering the stuff for this Auction/raffle has been fun and hard at the same time lots of stuff I would love to have in my possession! A few things I am going to have to bid on myself...This framed giants picture with comparative coin and a piece of a base from the World Series is a hard one to let go of donated by our friend Ryan Crawford at KNBR.... Also just had two six packs of Mondavi Divining Rod wines donated by Janice Mondavi.....as well as a selection of Jon Baicchoi Lake Flies that I am sure catch fish on any body of water...Jon tying is about as clean, simple, and deadly effective as it comes.

Great thing about this raffle and auction is there is something for everyone at every price point from 15-$25 to thousands of dollars....I would encourage everyone to go to the show and then come one over to the event for some beers and food.
