Truly a work of art. I feel like I know this lake like the back of my hand and Jon & Ken have seemingly managed to capture not only her mood but her soul as well. Nicely done. And a nice tribute to Madi who kept more than one bull out of my path while prospecting the shoreline and always gave away Jon's hot buckets with that distinctive bark of his.
Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.
