    Default Hardy Bougle questions

Was thinking of getting a Bougle for my 6 weight spey rod and had a couple of questions.
Is there any way to adjust the drag on these reels? I like to set the drag loose and fish the line tight to the reel.
Also, can you palm the reel? Hope that isn't a stupid question.
    Thanks guys,
    Patrick

3 3/4 should work and you can finger the opposite side of the spool or the inside of the spool. Do it!

Yea, you can palm the opposite side of the spool or the inside. Beyond that, the only way to adjust drag is to tweak the springs, but its a delicate and dangerous process. If you're not careful you can ruin or break them. The stock drag on the click and pawl is usually pretty nice though.

They are very light from the factory with a little adjustment screw too.

Most click-n-pawl reels have very little drag.

Thanks for the input, gents. Sounds like it'll be a good reel for summer steelhead.
    I'm gonna pull the trigger.

Good choice. Only down side is Hardy's slow delivery since they were bought out.
