Default Yuba today was terrible, worst ever, highly recommend not to go

Hogan's Yuba Pupa in dark olive under an egg was the killer combo. Easily the best nymphs I've ever fished, and they held up really well over dozens of hits.

Nope. I have no reason to believe those fish weren't super imposed to look like they were caught below that bridge. I have yet to ever catch a fish below that bridge, what's wrong with those fish?

The egg bite is really winding down on the Yuba in my opinion. Ther are salmon in the system, but the major egg drop is done and the large majority of salmon are post spawn and dying off. There are a few stragglers in the system, but the major event is past. It was really a sporadic, confused egg bite this year with small groups of fish coming in.

The caddis bite has been good. Thus cooler weather has definitely helped keep them eating the entire day.
