    Nice looking cicada. Trout love 'em. Have a cicada magnifica on my work computer from the same trip. Will try to post mañana.

    Nice, and those cutts you can catch over and over with that fly. Seems like the cutts in the green aren't to smart

    Here is a recently hatched cicada magnifica in jumbo proportions. The shuck wasn't too far away. Placed a quarter next to it for a reference. We ended up putting it in one of those plastic pill cups the shops use to hold flies and left it at the counter for folks to inspect. It barely fit with the wings extended.

    Mark, only caught one cutthroat for my 3 days on the river- at the put in, of course. Cutts aren't too smart anywhere I have caught them and they are suckers for the dry in foam lines and slack water. Mostly browns fell for the cicada this trip.
