Default Striper action on the Lower American River............

    Hi Bill,

Caught some nice Stripers in Lower American River today.

We got around 20 or so, highlight was a 5-6# fish that ate a Pole Dancer on top near the boat!! Always a blast to see the explosion!

With the riparian growth and tranquill river setting, it is like a whole different world than the other side of the levee. True with most valley rivers. The fishermen of Sacramento are truely blessed. Not just the stripers Frank, but all the other anadromas fish that find their way uo the American.
Albeit, I could do for a few less homeless incampments. But kudos to them for picking a nice place to camp.
