I have been going out on the American, doing short 2 to 3 hour shad- striper seminars. We have not been catching large #s of shad, mostly 6 to 12 fish an outing. The stripers have been small, though last Sunday my student lost one that he had on for a while that he at first thought was wood or something on the bottom. Mostly the trips have been focused on learning while you catch a few fish.

My son and I went out shad fishing with Andy Sunday 6/15 evening 5:30 - dark. We fished from Sailor's bar to Sunrise. Fishing was very good considering this year's season. We caught about 12 fish between the 2 of us, several of them large bright hens. Half of the fish came around / after sunset. I enjoyed my time on the water with Andy.
