Default RV Camping on/along The Trinity????

Looking for family friendly campground up along the Trinity River. Trailer is 28' and I would prefer hook-ups but not totally necessary. I was originally thinking about one of the camprgrounds on Lewiston Resevoir but can't figure out if Travel Trailers are welcome there???

I've stayed at the Bigfoot Campground in Junction City, even kept a travel trailer there during steelhead season. It is right on the river, has full hook ups, showers and laundry facilities, but its not what I'd consider a forest type campground.

Forrest service campgrounds in California usually have no hookup for RVs.

The campgrounds at Lewiston are geared towards tents last time I was there. Rv's set up in the parking lot. Not good. May have changes since then.
