    I think that a Jon boat with one of these mud motors would allow us to get back into some really remote small water.

    almost finished the motor mount . the plates on the side will have a slot and be bolted to the side of the belt drive housing .





    . also the beck of that housing will be slotted were it bolts to the motor . This will make it so i can adjust the tension on the belts .

    motor mount and transom mount are done . I am now working on the drive belt housing

    is the one pictured above part of a kit? I like how compact it is compared to the mud motor kit. I want to replace a 2hp motor on my inflatable boat but don't want to drop a bunch of cash.
