    Default Surface drive mud motor build in progress

    Something to do in the winter LOL I had no tools and found everything I needed tool wise at Harbor Freight . Only going to cost me around $800 for everything . I will have a 15 HP surface drive and all the tools i need for other projects

    I have the 4''x6''x 48'' 11 ga tube coming for the belt drive housing . I already have the bearings pulleys shaft and shaft tube . The M.Motor is going on this .

    i wanted something that handles like a outboard , yet gets me into the really shallow stuff . costing me around 800 or so to build mine . including buying a vice , welder , grinder , cut off saw , metal , bearings and prop and motor . The motor is a 15 HP horizontal shaft Lifan motor .
