    Sure looks like a gillnet mark to me.

    Could be some old line wrap marks or talon scars... The fish that got away!

    Those look like line marks to me. You see that fairly often when a fish rolls in your leader. Totally suck for the fish and the mess they make out of your flies.
    Guiding out here on some of the best trout waters of the west coast, it is my goal to fill your memory bank with plenty of fish tales, big and small!
