Most seem to be using the Nextcast lines and some are trying the new Airflo Delta II lines.

Both the Airflo Delta 2 and NextCast lines are good choices. Had a chance to cast the new Rio Short Head Spey this week and was impressed with the turn over. Their 5/6 is 40 feet and their 9/10 lengthens out to 50 feet. Lines in between, of course, gradually increase in length.
No doubt about it. Winston BII-X 14' 8/9 matched with a Ballistic vector 8/9 is the finest set up I've ever owned.
Lee Davidson is working on some prototype, extended-belly versions of the original vectors, so keep your ear to the ground. If you like the delta/delta long you will be blown away by the vector.

I use my 5119 TCX and a rage with a home-made leader (maxima 20-15-10) for dry fly work, and then add a clear int. tip for sub-surface work for fall fish.
Typically, though, I'll go through once with the dry fly rod, and then back through with the skagit/tip setup if I'm fishing solo.
I really like a scandi short on my #4 Sage One switch rod. If I use a spey rod and want to cast light top or sub surface flies I like the Scandi line.
