    Question White Miller....

I've Never used it for trout fishing. Always thought that White Miller pattern was a classic wet fly but what do I know?? Anyway, In checking it out, I see that it can be tied dry, soft hackle or wet (classic). I used a large version of it for Bass/Crappie in SoCal lakes when I was much younger.

Would this be a fly to imitate the Coffin Fly???

I'm originally from the mid-Atlantic. All of the Larger rivers including the warmer smallmouth rivers had "blizzard hatches" in June. That's what we used White Millers for. The mayfly hatching is Ephoron luekon. Not sure if we have them in CA. I do like white millers as an attractor.
