Very good footage. I could watch this every day.

After watching this video a few times. Ralph's comments about trout missing the mark is right on. A few of the damsels get away.

Really good top water (dry fly) trout fishing for wild trout is good.....

I have only seen trout eating lots of damsel adults on top once in my life.

Maybe August of 1976 on Crane Prairie Reservoir in Oregon.

Wow! That's awesome, but I have to wonder: who in their right mind would be hanging on to the camera instead of grabbing a rod? I'm glad someone did though, and thanks so much for sharing that.

I've seen this happen on a local river mid summer. Fish after fish juming multiple feet after the dragonflies. Didn't have anything in my box that matched the hatch. Went and bought some dragon fly flies made for bass fishing the next day. Went back and didnt see it again. Been going back for three years that time of the year, equiped, waiting for it to happen again, it will happen again...

I had a trout once jump a foot or so up the side of a boulder to get the dry fly I just threw that hit the boulder and stuck to it. I caught the fish, most amazing thing I have ever seen in fish behavior.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!
