Default AR Steelhead and some Feather R steelhead

I have been catching some steelhead and only got two pics of all the adults I have caught. Hard to take a picture when you are by yourself! The Hero shot pic Andy took (And Thanks Andy!! ) when we were fishing together one of the past days.

They are out there but with the flows (after talking to a friend Mark) it might be a thing where this low clear and not very fast water is giving these fish a lot of time to think if they should take what you are offering. A fact I can back it up with is that all the adult fish I have caught all seem to have the same mo and its their grab! Its on the soft side and then you think you got yourself in a snag and next thing you know its taking off on you. I have talked to lots people on the river and everyone is saying the same about the grab.

Anyways here are some pics and enough babbling.....

Wow....with the low water I am sure many Sac Valley rivers have some steelhead in them.

Kewwwl. Nice looking fish...guess I should brush off the dust and get to it.

That second fish looks like a feather river steelie- at least the ones I have seen
    are colored up like that.

    Gracias for sharing,

    EO
