    Default GAS

On the guitar forums, they use a term called "GAS". Guitar Acquisition Syndrome, or Gear Acquisition Syndrome...

Anybody besides me have GAS right now for fly fishing gear?

If you work in the fishing tackle business you really get 'GAS'...............every day.

Too much new 'good stuff' coming in now.

I used to have a serious case of Classical Gas (Classical Guitar Acquisition Syndrome), but when the Great Recession hit I sold all of my classical guitars, save one. In regards to fly fishing gear, the Echo Spey rod that I bought a few months ago is in its case, not being used, and if we don't get any rain anytime soon, I'll be doing a heck of a lot more guitar playing, and less fly fishing. (Though this might be my year to hit the Pit River).
