Default Help: Pink Wood Recipe Needed

Looking for the recipe for Pink Wood Fly that appeared in Calif. Fly Fisher Magazine sometime back. Checked my back issues and tried to locate with article search on CFF web site to no avail.

It's a fly that features a tendril from a dollar store squishy toy.

Any and all help appreciated. If someone has the article, I'd appreciate it you could scan it and e-mail it to me.

    Thanks,

    Bob

    Question Pink Wood Fly....

If you Google the name, you'll come up with an assortment of images that include a number of pink fly patterns with various combinations of the name, Pink Wood Fly. Seems like if it appeared in the CA Fly Fisher mag., it would appear on Google.

You search might produce better results if recalled the type of fly the Pink Wood is. Are you sure what mag. you saw it in????....

    Default Thanks

Thanks. Already tried google but did not find it. I'm sure it was Cal Fly Fisher. I sent them an email through their web site. We will see if they reply.

    Default Found Pink Wood

I got an e-amil from Richard Anderson, the publisher of Calif. Fly Fisher. The fly receipe was in the January 2009 issue. Some friends from my club, TVFF, have that issue. Here's pics of it, just to prove I'n not crazy...

    Thanks,

    Bob
