Thread: Andy Guibord has hooked 3 adult Steelhead in the Lowe American River......

    Default Andy Guibord has hooked 3 adult Steelhead in the Lowe American River......

    ..................in the past week or so.

    He was giving a lesson on Spey fishing yesterday and was demonstrating how to cast and swing the fly and guess what?

    He caught this lovely one.

    He was using a Sage ONE 12'6" #6 Spey rod with a Rio Skagit Max floating head, Rio iMOW 10' Intermediate tip, 6 feet Rio FC 0x tippet, and it looks like a black marabou leech.

    Andy has been working at the new location from Thurs through Sunday.
