    Could that be a Sage SPL 383? I don't believe 838 is a correct model number (but I have a lot to learn). Also, how many pieces does it have, and does it come with tube and sock?

    You would be correct, typo on my part. Model is SPL 383-3 and it comes sock tube. The end cap is not the original though but it works. It a 3 pc rod was lightly uss d and is great shape.
