Default The Lower Sac...Doesn't get any better!!!!!!!

Had the Absolute Pleasure of fishing Rainbows with Anthony Carruesco today on the Lower Sac. There are a huge amount of Salmon in the river system this year, a very positive and beneficial situation... When you get the chance to fish with someone that really knows the water, it takes it to another level that can honestly be described as "Silly". Modestly we hooked upwards of 45 fish and some of the few that were landed were absolute specimens. If you want to experience this first hand Anthony is your man.

The amount of Salmon in the river is more than I have ever seen, fishing should stay strong for the next month and a half as the Egg bite continues. If anyone out there wants a first hand experience of this river is capable of then you need to track down Anthony for nice little treat.

I apologize for the pictures etc... not sure what happened to the ability to add them in along with the text.

    Hope you enjoy.

We did Aquagolf to Anderson. No way could I have had the success we did if I were to float it alone, he knows when and where the flies need to me at all times.

Those are all nice fish! A day like that would ruin my average size rainbow landed, and I wouldn't complain one bit!

Way to go, Big Dave! I am glad that you and Anthony had an awesome day. Maybe stripers on the delta with Joe next month?

Spicytuna your are correct about knowing where the fish are. I have floated it several times in my pontoon. Usually catch some fish. A buddy of mine recently got a drift boat so we take turns rowing. Catch rate is going up but still learning the river.
