Upper McCloud Camping

Anyone ever stay at Algoma or Fowlers campsites on the upper McCloud? Planning an annual fall trip and our traditional campsite of 22 years on the lower Pit is being "improved". Time for something new. Tent camping and fishing the Pit, Upper Sac, McCloud. Thanks

I camp at fowler s a fair amount, nice place. Should be slowing down around now camping wise, river very close.

Thank you very much. The Government shut down changes things a little, but I think the idiots in DC. will have this stupid matter put to bed by the time we go. Some camps in the area are closed(federal).

Fowlers should be open as it is a Forest Service campground and not a Park Service Camp.
