    Default Website Status

I will post all updates up here by editing my post.

We are on a new server, all software has been re-installed, and we "should" be back to normal. Fingers crossed.

Fixed the Forum Category errors, this was caused by some additional security that I added and it doesn't like the () in the URLs. Prevents scripting in some hacker code. I adjusted the titles and they work fine now.

I found a couple "back doors" that were dangerous enough that I shut down the web server for a few hours earlier this evening. I have removed these and found the code in our database that would automatically rebuild these "back doors". I think this was the primary avenue that they used to destroy our website earlier. They are gone now.

I am still scouring the database (almost 1 GB of code) to see if there are any traces left behind. Let me know if you see anything unusual.

The Striper forum is not working for me. I tried reading a new(today)post, but get an error message.

This is a result of a security patch I did at the home level of the website. It's preventing characters such as ( and ) because they can be used in a hacker attack if they are in the URL. vBulletin takes the post title and inserts it into the URL, which yours contains these characters.

I need to remove this requirement because I see it will cause problems here and the risk from opening this up is minimal. Just give me a bit to figure it out, should be taken care of within a day.

Your post is accessible via this link: http://www.kiene.com/forums/showthread.php?31400

Since posting this, I went to your thread and edited your title so anyone can access directly now too.
