Supervisors Approve New Wardens - American River Parkway

Good news for fly fishers on the parkway, and those who park there. The County Board of Supervisors has approved four additional wardens to patrol the American River Parkway.

Thats great news! I think you meant rangers not wardens. We do need more rangers to patrol the parkway. Hopefully that will cut down on the broken glass in the parkway parking lots? Let's just hope!

Mark is correct and caught my error. They are rangers and not wardens, and are full law enforcement officers.

Great news. I like having the rangers out and about. Of course I am pro - law enforcement. It just makes everyone feel better about being on the river. Nothing worst than break ins or even having to change my hat while I am fishing!!

They need to go hang out near J Street bridge and bust the guys snagging fish. Saw about a down snagging salmon last time I was out.
