    Default Good Day

Couple of photos from Sunday. Top Water was on. Started with a frog for the first hour of sun and after the bite slowed, I switched over to the black bug. Things picked back up until about 930 am.

Used the a brown over white clouser with success, then for the heck of it, I switched again to the small "senko". The pattern was found somewhere on the interwebs, just cant remember where. It almost drops horizontally, but the weight of the hook causes it to fall a bit on an angle. If no fish on the fall, then a slow hand-twist retrieve did the trick.

What really made the day was watching the bass pound baitfish by working in teams like orcas and school-up baitfish and drive them into the shallow banks. It was every couple of minutes for big-time blow-ups.

Also, a big thanks to Joe Mateas for the rod-build idea. The rod works well and can't thank you enough Joe.
